Want to save money on your lighting bills? Have you thought about LED conversion?

At Fusion we can offer led conversions from your mains or low voltage halogen downlights.

If you currently have downlights with halogen lamps you could save hundreds of pounds a year by switching to led lamps. Led lamps use up to 90% less energy and In an average home with 8 or more halogen down lights, switching to Led could result in a saving of around £8.00 per month.*

The led lamps also greatly outlast halogen lamps and benefit from a much lower working temperature making them a safer product in terms of reducing the risk of fire hazard unlike halogen which operates at high temperatures.

*calculation based using an electricity rate of 15p kWh, using a standard 50watt halogen lamp switched to a 4watt Led lamp. Your savings could be even greater depending on your energy provider.

Domestic Visual Condition Report
The Domestic Visual Condition Report is a visual check of the wiring within your installation. The visual inspection will include an inspection of the condition of cables within the consumer unit, the general condition of switches and sockets and inspection for signs of deterioration, damage and overheating. The report can be used as a means of visually identifying defects, damage and deterioration of the installation, whilst also assessing the general level of compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations. Once the report is completed a list of any defects found will be compiled and the report will conclude if the installation is satisfactory or unsatisfactory.

As the Domestic Visual Condition inspection does not involve any circuit testing, it cannot alone fully determine whether the installation is safe for continued use. A full Periodic Inspection & Test to BS7671 wiring regulations tests the circuits using the latest test equipment and provides detailed test results.  Please see our other testing services.

The Domestic Visual Condition Report can be used between formal Periodic Inspection & Tests to visually identify damage or deterioration to an installation. The report is used by landlords, homeowners when buying or selling their homes and those who require a professional overview of their wiring installation.
